I love being part of the local community and I’m always looking for new ideas, specials and ways to make Tabz Kitchen a place people are happy to come back to.

Distinguished and Famous people from Kangaroo Valley

🌟 Elaine Apperley

Elaine Apperley contributed to Kangaroo Valley through her leadership of the Pioneer Village Museum. Appointed chair of its trustees in 2002, she remained in that role until late 2013, helping recruit volunteers for administration, visitor services and maintenance. The community newspaper’s 2024 remembrance includes accounts from both her family and fellow museum workers. They place that service alongside her enjoyment of music, art and community life. Her local distinction rests on years of practical work helping preserve the valley’s history and sustain the people who cared for it.
